World events are not dominated exclusively by bad news. However if you watch the nightly news on TV you would be forgiven for thinking this is not the case. Each day these programs are almost always dominated by negative stories and controversial opinion. This is no accident, over the years the producers of these programs have realized that they get more viewers when they offer this type of output. This is just as true when it comes to your website visitors, people are much more likely to click on a headline that promises some juicy info about something controversial or risqué.
